About the Role:

We are currently seeking experienced Gardeners / Grounds Maintenance / Horticulture Operators for upcoming opportunities across Melbourne’s Northern and Western suburbs.

This is a hands-on outdoor role working across parks, gardens, schools, recreational reserves, roadsides, and community spaces. We are looking for reliable candidates with strong grounds maintenance experience who are comfortable operating equipment and working within a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform turf, garden, and general grounds maintenance
• Operate zero turn ride-on mowers (52”–72”), wide area mowers, and other landscaping equipment
• Conduct brush cutting, hard edging, pruning, hedge trimming, and weed removal
• Apply herbicides using knapsack sprayers where required
• Carry out pre-start checks on mowers, trailers, and equipment
• Load/unload and safely tow trailers carrying mowers and machinery
• Use tablets and apps to log jobs and complete digital reporting
• Maintain parks, recreational reserves, roadsides, and community areas to a high standard
• Work collaboratively within a team guided by a Team Leader

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in grounds maintenance, horticulture, landscaping, or similar outdoor maintenance roles
• Experience operating ride-on mowers and outdoor maintenance equipment
• Experience towing trailers and transporting equipment
• Physically fit and comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work
• Valid Driver’s Licence (Manual licence highly regarded)
• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) – Mandatory
• Basic computer literacy and confidence using tablets/apps

• Workers will meet daily in Epping to collect company vehicles/Utes
